Artificial Intelligence enables us to enhance video in new and useful ways. Models such as Depth-Aware Video Frame Interpolation, or DAIN, can be used to drastically increase the size of a video (and our ability to zoom in).
Enhanced editing techniques, utilizing some of the same software as law enforcement, can bring forward parts of video that might otherwise be lost to the naked eye.
This can be especially useful for enhancing security videos, outdated formats, and inferior or low quality recordings.
